TIPS ON SENTENCE CONSTRUCTION - SECTION A PAPER 2

1. Write only what you see in the picture. Do not predict !

2. Construct different types of sentences.
Construct simple , compound and complex sentences so that you will score better.

3. Do not start a sentence with a pronoun.

4. Construct only a sentence on each space given.
If there are more than a sentence , the sentences after the fifth sentence will not be
marked although they are correct .

5. Check you grammar , spelling and punctuation .

SCHOOL BASED ORAL ASSESSMENT ( SBOA )

AS usual, you will be tested for your oral or your speaking skills this year .



For Year 1- 5 , the oral test will be held from January - October while the Year 6 pupils will be tested until July.



Tips : Always speak in English as Practice Makes Perfect. During your English lessons, take part actively and don't feel shy if you make any mistakes. It is okay to make mistakes but learn from them and improve yourself.



For your information , there are four areas which you will be tested.

1. Grammar and Vocabulary

2. Pronunciation and Intonation

3. Fluency and Rhythm

4. Ethics and Mannerism
