10 Year 5 students accompanied by 3 teachers participated in an international exchange programme in Bangkok from 14 - 18 July 2012. The pupils stayed with their foster family to learn the Thai culture . They were warmly welcomed by their buddies and foster families. The students were also invited to perform for the queen in conjunction of her birthday celebration. This program is an eye opener for the teachers and pupils. It is hoped that we are able to be their host when they visit us in October.

SBU won consolation and 5th prize in SiR State Level 2012

5 students represented SKSBU for Spell-it-Right State Level Competition 2012 on 8/7/12 at Time Square.

Aina Baharudin won RM100 for the consolation prize while Hanissa Zahidi won the 5th prize of RM500. All participants received a certificate each.Congratulations !

Siti Sarah won the 3rd Prize

The 3rd prize winner for the Pudu Zone Story-Telling Competition 2012 : Siti Sarah Shah bt Naseer Shah ( 6Bestari ) Congratulations and all the best for the State Level .

Our Action Song Team is the champion in Pudu Zone

Good news ! Our school team for Action Song is the new champion for Pudu Zone. They had given the best performance and we will be going to the state level which will be held later. Keep practising and I believe we can do it again. Congratulations !

The International Competitions and Assessments for Schools (ICAS) is produced by the Educational Assessment Australia (EAA), a not-for-profit organisation wholly owned by the University of New South Wales.

The ICAS is now held in SK Seri Bintang Utara. This year , the time table is as below :

EXPLORE YOURSELF @KIDZANIA

Have you heard of Kidzania ? It is a new concept of education for children aged 4 - 14.
It is a very interesting programme where English is spoken throughout your time spent at the Kidzania City. You get to experience real life activities just like the adults. You can choose to be someone you have always wanted to be when you grow up. To find out more , look at the video below.
